I am middle aged christian wife, mother and grandmother and proud flag waving American first and foremost.
As I am sure is the same with some of you these are the priorities that define me.
What life experience and knowledge I have comes from raising 6 kids, grand parenting 9 and working for 40 years in the administrative stewardship of our Worcester family enterprises.
Living in rural Maine the diversity of our family businesses ranging from Worcester Wreath, Worcester Peat, Worcester Blueberries, County Concrete,County Asphalt , GnP Restaurant and Worcester Holdings along with the grace of God has allowed us to live an abundant life for which we are grateful. Side note- no white collar workers here as we all are hands on and love working as family and team.
Our family was also blessed to be the founders of the nonprofit Wreaths Across America.
Upon the creation of Wreaths Across America™ in 2007, I was chosen for the position of Executive Director by the Board of Directors. I am passionate about the organization whose mission is to Remember the fallen; Honor those who serve; and Teach our children that our freedoms are purchased at a great cost.
My hobby is the little farm we have created which is home to 4 horses, alpacas, goat, sheep, pot belly pigs, chinchillas , one little steer, many rescued cats and over 100 birds.
My family has a great commitment to country and community and have built an out door amphitheater that always welcomes veterans free to concerts.
We have donated land for a national veterans cemetery in out town which will open for burials in summer of 2020.
On our balsam farm we built a beautiful chapel for the community to use. We hold services on Saturday nights so as not to pull numbers from suffering local churches.
I pray that God will lead me to do something of purpose by sharing this page.
